The Länta hut is open - the summer season lasts from June 28th to the End of October.

Rheinwaldhorn and Zerfreilahorn
Stone and water, the main elements in the valley of Vals can also be explored at the two most famous summits of the Länta. The Rheinwaldhorn with its high of 3400 meters fascinates with its coat of firn and glacier, while the rocky and a bit lower Zerfreilahorn posseses the slim shape of a pyramid. “The original is located in Graubünden”, are saying the inhabitants of Vals proudly. And indeed the Zerfreilahorn is often said to be the Matterhorn of Graubünden.
The view from the Rheinwaldhorn is greater than from many other summits in the Alps. And the hike over tight paths, pebble, rock and ice from the Länta-hut is a highly varied excursion.
