Family and children

The Länta-hut SAC is part of a program of the SAC called „Höhenflüge“, which presents exceptionally family-friendly huts. Children and their parents find in the Länta a perfect place for a peaceful stay in the nature indeed.

Instead, there isn’t a classical animation. You have to move on your own and motivate yourselves. If you need a colored pencil or a rock for climbing, a board game or glacial ice, a book or a slackline: The warden will tell you where you can find it, even though he won’t take part in most cases. But instead he will tell stories and legends after the dinner. And if he forgets it once, he can be reminded of it.

Things, which are interesting for families:

- The simple trail to the hut around the barrier sea

- The Lampertschalp on the way

- The possibility to see wild animals

- The glacier trail to the Läntagletscher

- The huge rocks in the valley with lawns you can play on, streams and tarns

- The crags and the rocks for climbing

- The slackline next to the hut

-The hike over the Furggelti is suitable for children older than 8 years. This hike is recommended in the book Bergfloh 2 of the SAC for sportive families with children too.
