«The hut is not always a paradise. But it’s a good place to see more clearly, what we do during the day»

This spell is written over the entrance of the Länta-hut SAC and a first clue, why the warden Thomas Meier cords his shoes again and again since over 20 years ago and goes to the Länta full with motivation. He says that he isn’t a nomad because of that, to realistic is the change between the city and the mountains, between the village and the hut.

He shares this view on the world every summer with lodge assistants from all over the world, and with friends. The encounters are mostly limited by time, but everyone goes away with a full backpack and a lot of impressions and experiences. This makes evident that living and working at the hut contains a huge addiction potential. Everyone wants to come back no matter where the life brings them to. And some of them even make it there for a second or third summertime.
